The TAGB
TAGB

The Tae Kwon Do Association of Great Britain was founded in 1983 and has since grown in to the largest Tae Kwon Do organisation in the UK.  We have over 24,000 members training at over 500 clubs and we are getting more and more members every day.  The TAGB contains some of the worlds top performers, with several European and World Champions.

The association is managed by a democratically organised committee which still includes the founding members although day to day management of each club is up to the club instructor.

Tae Kwon Do International

The seeds for Tae Kwon Do International were first sown during the 2nd Open World Championships in 1991 when 21 countries declared their intention to join the TAGB to form an international body able to rise above political differences, look after its members on a global scale but without interfering at a national level, and capable of promoting Tae Kwon Do for the mutual benefit of all those organisations actively involved in its propagation and practise.

TKDI was formally founded in 1993 and now has member organisations in over 50 countries.
