| Competition Success - Interclub Champs, 24th July |

The 10th Interclub Championships was held at Hemel Hempstead Sports Centre on the 24th July and there were a few entries by students of Hitchin and Stevenage Tae Kwon Do. However, the success stories of the day were the fantastic perofrmance by Kieran Griffin who won a Gold medal for Sparring (Boys Light) and a Silver Medal for Team Patterns and the outstandingfirst outing into competitions by Chris Clark. Chris entered the Boys yellow / green light weight sparring and despite all other competitors being of a higher grade Chris demonstrated great ability winning both his fights 6-0 and taking the Gold medal. Very well done to you both. |
| Summer Camp - Clacton - May 14th-16th 2010 |

As normal, the summer training camp was a massive success thanks to the efforts of Mr Terry Read and Mr Miles Lutwyche. There were 6 hard training sessions which sapped the last strength of all taking part but it was really a good weekend covering all aspects of fitness, sparring, pad work and traditional Tae Kwon Do. A special mention must go to Danielle Shimell who won the Ladies Bleep Test. Roll on next year. |

The Black Belt Gradings were held in Bristol on the 23rd & 24th April. Fantastic performances yielded the following results: Alasdair Kennedy was successfully promoted to 2nd Degree Black Belt Well done to you all. |

Hitchin and Stevenage clubs have had great success in the Black Belt Gradings with Michelle Sloan achieving the grade of 1st Degree Black Belt. Tania Kennedy, Jasbir Parmar and Jaspreet Parmar have all achieved the grade of 2nd Degree Black Belts. Congratulations to you all. |

The Interclub Championships this year yielded a few successes with Bronze medals for Ian Watkins and Sam Griffin and Silver for Jordan Kennedy and Steven Griffin. |
| Kicking Seminar - 14th June 2009 |

The kicking seminar in Luton was a great event. Emma Elmes is amazingly talented and she had us all doing a lot of rather tiring kicking drills. The event finished with Emma performing a demonstration routine and then it was time for the photos.
